A CEO is leading an independent, non-profit, national institute dedicated to enhancing the quality of governance and directorship.  The institute operates across various sectors including corporate, government and non-profits.

The client has created a ”Board Effectiveness Diagnostic” for its members and has attempted to digitize it, however feedback from members has been poor and the cost of maintaining the diagnostic internally is high.  The CEO is looking for a more effective, and lower cost way, to create, deploy and maintain the “Board Effectiveness Diagnostic’.

2. Some pre-work is undertaken by the board or company secretary as a part of the assessment.
3. The final assessment is taken as a team—building a deeper understanding of board effectiveness practices and self-assessing current board performance.  Significant team discussion and debate unfolds during this self assessment process.
4. Method8 platform functionality is used to escalate questions / blockers that require clarification or action.
5. The board identifies the actions required to close gaps to the practices.
